About Me

Hullo!
I'm Sarah Ann—biliofile, traveler, NC native, and writer.

When I was 16, I spent six months living in Italy as an exchange student, and I discovered a latent passion for telling stories of far-away people, places, and things. Since then, writing's taken me to Uganda, Rwanda, the Philippines, the Republic of Congo, Malawi, & Peru.
Here, I write about people I meet, questions I’m grappling with, and how I’m fumbling my way towards Christ. I write about what I'm reading and what amuses me. I know almost nothing, but I'm curious about everything.

As described by my darling, semi-cantankerous grandfather: "All the writing skills of Hemingway with the action of Jim Carey." So there's that.

This blog is largely a place for me to exhume all the thoughts ping ponging around my noggin. But perhaps there’s something here for you, too.
